Folder Application

The Folder application provides document management functionality. Create unlimited folders to hold any type of file. Advanced features include check in, check out of documents, document approvals, version control, and workflow.

Use the Folder application to:

  • organize, archive, and share any type of document or file
  • workflow documents for approval
  • collect comments about a document
  • track views of a file
  • work with other colleagues to edit a file and keep track of the different versions

The Feed view shows you recently edited files, provides inline commenting and previewing for images.
The list view allows sorting by columns which represent file attributes and can be customized in the administration.
The default view can be set in the administration as well.
